More than a Academy
While it started as solely a sports academy, we have quickly grown into a center for holistic education and development for the youth in Purulia and the adjacent areas. Alongside pursuing sporting excellence, the Academy now has been a catalyst for socio-economic development, improvement in healthcare infrastructure, social reforms and academic inclination.
In this short period we have seen our athletes shining in the state and national levels like prestigious Kolkata football League, RFDL, Santosh trophy which was very scarce previously in this area.
We have seen our girl students challenging the prejudices of society. Within a short span of time, we have seen the count of girl students at our academy grow significantly across age groups. This has been followed by noticeable decline in instances of child marriage and sharp increase in re-enrolment into schools for the girls.
We have also seen significant Improvement in social status for the locals; reduced crime rates, addiction to alcohol drugs and also to mobile and digital world alongwith promotion of teamwork and camaraderie amongst all layers and castes of society.
